Cal Water has been sponsoring BTG for 11 years.  Every year they volunteer at the W4W and donate financially.  This week, I was invited to their office to do a presentation of BTG’S work in Africa.  Afterward, the attendees were able to shop from BTG Market.

A big thank you goes out to Cali’Flour Foods for doing a mini food show at our 12th Annual Christmas Boutique.  Shoppers were able to sample their crackers and yummy pizzas.  You can now buy their products at New Earth, Safeway, and S&S produce.


Cal Java

Mike and Kelly Huber’s generosity helps this world to be a better place.  Thank you for partnering with Core Butte and their coffee project to raise funds for TivaWater Filters.  They also provide a space for BTG Market to sell merchandise.

10 Year Club 2018
Bridging the Gap by Giving has over 40 Corporate Sponsors that support the Walk4Water on a yearly basis.  We want to recognize ten corporate sponsors that have been with us from the beginning. This is the 10th year that Kathryn Redman, co-owner of Half a Bubble Out, has been helping with the newspaper lay outs and other promotional creative ideas for the W4W.

Even before their doors opened for business and for the past five years, Sweetwater Day Spa has supported Bridging the Gap and global sweet water with monthly donations, door prizes for our events, and contributing to BTG's administrative tasks!  You will also always see their staff participating in BTG’S Annual W4W.  They have a beautiful new location now at 40 Declaration Drive in Philadelphia Square in Chico, CA. Foodie Cafe
The Foodie Cafe will be featured at our 11th Annual Appreciation Dinner, serving up their fresh cole slaw, homemade slider buns for the pulled pork, and their hand-crafted chips. Klean Kanteen
Over the past 11 years, Klean Kanteen has donated on a consistent basis, which has provided 2 boreholes, sanitation, and training in hygiene to two African villages.  BTG can’t thank them enough!  BTG Market is proud to sell KK Bottles.

Great Harvest
There is nothing better then a Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich.  Great Harvest has been donating yummy bread for the past seven Years at the W4W.  Thank you, Julie and Jaime!

Jan Troth, the owner of The Loft, volunteered her time, contributed financially, and

North Valley Eye Care


North Valley Eye Care has been promoting the W4W for the past 3 years.  This year they walked as a team, manned the African Art Education Station and donated financially.  We so appreciate their support.


Satava Art Glass

This beautiful piece of art, the Gold Ruby Side Swimmer Jellyfish, was donated by Satava Art Glass to the W4W’S Silent Auction.  You may view it at Bridging The Gap Market on March 26th from 10 am to 12 pm, April 2nd from 3 to 7pm, at T Bar during W4W’S Packet Pick Up on April 5th from 3 to 7pm, and at the Walk4Water on April 6th.  The piece of art is valued at $800 and the silent auction bid will begin at $350.

Radio Chico

Radio Chico will be sponsoring the Walk4Water for the second time, we appreciate their help in getting the news out to our community.

California Water Company

For the past four years, California Water Service Company has partnered with BTG by financially giving to our thirsty world and helping to educate our community about the importance of water conservation. This year, they will continue to support BTG financially and you will see their staff manning two educational stations: Women of Strength and Water Tasting. 

In Motion Fitness

In Motion Fitness has donated a three month family membership to BTG the past three years as one of the W4W prizes. This year, Brian and Cassie Faith and their boys will enjoy the club for the summer months.

Lundberg Family Farm 

Lundberg Family Farm, another local company, have supported the water walk by providing their healthy Rice Chips.  Water Walkers have enjoyed the Rice Chips for the past three years that Lundberg Rice Family Farms have provided.  Yum!  Be sure to buy a bag of chips when you shop as a way to say thanks to the Lundberg family for their generosity.

Tea Bar & Fusion Cafe

We thank T Bar for hosting the Walk4Water’s Packet Pickup! Please enjoy a refreshing drink and dinner after you pick up some coupons and your shirt, if you ordered one. All optional pledges should be turned in at this time. Online registration is still available by clicking here, and registration will be available at the T Bar during the packet pickup.

Campus Bicycles

Budd Schwab the owner from Campus Bicycles at 330 Main Street is donating a $250 gift certificate for the Optional Pledge Program of this year’s Water Walk.

Chico News and Review

 For the past two years, you found out about the Walk4Water because of the Chico News and Review's generosity of providing commercial time to Bridging The Gap.

Mountain Sports


Mountain Sports was the first local business to reach out to Bridging The Gap. We started selling our handcrafted necklaces from Uganda two years ago. This year they donated a gift certificate for a Water Walk prize.

Rio Lindo Dental Association

Rio Lindo Dental Association donated funds to support Bridging The Gap’s 2nd Water Walk.  I also want to thank the staff for shopping at Bridging The Gap’s Market.  Dr. Brian Lange is my choice for a dentist.

Fleet Feet

 Fleet Feet will again be featuring Bridging The Gap's Water Walk from April 12th through April 18th. When you shop at Fleet Feet mention Bridging The Gap's Water Walk and 10% of your purchase will be donated to Bridging The Gap.

Sports LTD

This year a 20” Electra Townie Bike will be a prize for a 12 & under who raises the most money for BTG’s Pledge Program.

Sports LTD donates a children's bike for a prize in the Water Walk. One of the children who raises the most money for Bridging The Gap will win a new bike! Bridging The Gap's cards are on sale at Sports LTD.

Reel Dreams Productions

Reel Dreams Productions is a Chico based small town production company with global results. Luke Scherba, the owner, will be the videographer for the 2nd water walk.  He has also become Bridging The Gap By Giving’s Facebook Administrator and provides BTG updates.

Hignell and Hignell


Hignell and Hignell have donated funds to support the Water Walk for two years.

Chico Sports Club


Chico Sports Club donated a year membership for the adult Water Walker who raises the most money through pledges. Nancy Laymon was the recepient of the one year membership.



Another corporate sponsor, ChicoBag is donating a portion of the cost for the ChicoBag that will be on sale at the Water Walk.
